Cádiz is famous for its seafood, fried fish, pork, and sherry wine. Appetite is a must for this experience as we will eat our way through the city tasting new flavors and local flavors. Location, history, and culture have all played their roles in shaping the local food.

In this gastronomical tour, we will discover some of the most authentic dishes and tapas as we eat, drink, and delve into the local cuisine of this culinary experience.

Meeting Point

We will meet at Plaza San Juan de Dios in front of the monument ‘Cádiz a Moret’.

Eat like the locals

We will sample a variety of the local favorites as well as some of the most typical dishes, from fish to meat, to vegetables we will try it all.

Sherry, Vinos & More Wine!

No Spanish tapa tour is complete without wine, and since we are in Cádiz, Sherry wine is a must! We will try a variety of local wines and favorite beverages.

(Don’t worry, if you are not a wine drinker there are other options)

MEETING POINT & TOUR DURATION

Meeting location: Rail or Bus Station, Cruise Ship Port,

Tour Duration: The tour is about 3.5 hours long. Please keep in mind that most of the local spots do not take reservations. We do our best to be organized and keep up with our allotted time, but sometimes MURPHY law is real.  

 

TRANSPORTATION

All of our experiences are done on foot. Please keep in mind the route is 4km (2.5 miles). If you would like to modify or do the experience by private car, please contact us.

RESTRICTIONS

Please keep in mind that most Tapa bars are open between 12:00 and 16:00.

The fish market is open between 09:00 – 14:00 Tuesday – Saturday.

The food market is closed in the evenings between the months of September to June and every Monday.
