Cádiz has been a popular destination for the last three thousand years. Ever since the Phoenicians sailed to the area, it has been bustling with historical figures that we can find in our school books.
This city is not only rich in history and culture but has played some major roles in the formation of modern Spain and Europe.
The TAPA & CULTURE experience is the perfect way to enjoy Cádiz.
We will begin by strolling around the lovely streets taking in its interesting history and culture before we stop to savour a local tapa and a drink.
This is one of my favorite ways to explore this area and I highly recommend it to anybody who wants to experience the essence of this magnificent ancient city.

Meeting Point
We will meet at the Cádiz Cathedral or the Catedral de Cádiz.

East & Drink the Local Gastronomy
Do what the locals do and try some of the local favorites. We will try a variety of Cádiz’s typical dishes as well as the famous sherry.

This experience is not only food-based, we will also see and explore the history and culture while visiting some of the most popular highlights.

MEETING POINT & TOUR DURATION
Meeting location: Rail or Bus Station, Cruise Ship Port,
Suggested by Guide: Pl. de la Catedral, s/n, 11005 Cádiz
Tour Duration: The tour is between 3 to 3.5 hours long. Please keep in mind that most of the local spots do not take reservations. We do our best to be organized and keep up with our allotted time, but sometimes MURPHY law is real.
TRANSPORTATION
All of our experience are done on foot. Please keep in mind the route is 4km (2.5miles). If you would like to modify or do the experience by a private car, please contact us.
RESTRICTIONS
Please keep in mind that most Tapa bars are open between 12:00 and 16:00.
The fish market is open between 09:00 – 14:00 Tuesday – Saturday.
The food market is closed in the evenings between the months of September to June and every Monday.
