This Experience brings together everything fun about El Puerto de Santa María: Sherry wine, tasty tapas, our amazing Castle (P.S. someone historically famous stayed there), and tapas!
This experience is one of my favorites to do with friends and family when they come to visit.
First, we will enjoy a typical Spanish breakfast before strolling over to the oldest internationally family-owned winery. Where they make the unique wine this area is known for Sherry. There you will learn all about the history and influence sherry wine has had in the world.
After you will visit the most famous monument in El Puerto, the Castle of San Marco. Then there will be a short stroll around the old town before stopping for a nice tapa lunch.
This experience is a must. Especially if you have already been to either Seville or Cádiz and want to do something the locals do while traveling in the area.
There is a Ferry/catamaran that crosses the bay between Cádiz and El Puerto de Santa María, which is a lovely way of waking up with the sea breeze in your face.

A visit to the oldest distillery in Spain to try their cocoa liqueur is also possible. Please inquire if interested.
MEETING POINT & TOUR DURATION
Meeting location: Rail or Bus Station, Cruise Ship Port.
Suggested by Guide: The meeting location may change depending on which city (Cádiz or El Puerto de Santa María) we start from.
Tour Duration: The experience normally is between 4 to 4.5hrs but sometimes MURPHY law is real.
TRANSPORTATION
All of our experiences are done on foot. If you would like to modify or do the experience in a private car, please contact us.
RESTRICTIONS
Please keep in mind that most Tapa bars are open between 12:00 and 16:00.
The fish market is open between 09:00 – 14:00 Tuesday – Saturday.
The oldest distillery only allows visits to groups with 6+ people.
